Summer Reading 2026!
June 27th-August 8th

What is Summer Reading?

During Summer Reading you can sign up for our annual reading challenge! When you sign up you'll be given a reading log. For every 15 minutes you read you mark it on your log. Once you have completes 5 hours of reading you can bring your log back to the library to get a small prize and enter into one of our grand prize raffles!

What's the challenge? 

Last year during the summer reading program our community read for 4,165 hours! We would like to see if together our community can read even more!

How do I Sign Up?!

Stop into the library with a parent or guardian and sign up at the desk! We are kicking off the Reading Program at our Summer Reading Party on June 27th! Anyone that signs up to participate on the first day will get entered into a raffle to win a Seabreeze day pass. Thank you Seabreeze for donating this awesome prize!

Summer Reading Party! Special Guest the Seneca Park ZooMobile! Saturday June 27th 11:00am-1:00pm. Zoomoblie 11:00-12:00 Ice Cream 12:00pm-1:00.
Red, White, and Blue Tie-Dye Tuesday June 30th. 12:00am-1:00pm. No registration required. To Participate bring a washed, white, cotton t-shirt.
Magic the Gathering June 3rd and 17th. 2:30pm-4:30pm ages 13-18. We are playind standard format. participants are wlcome to bring their own deck or borrow one of the library decks. Registration is required, to sign up please call the library at 315-589-2048 or sign up on our online calendar.
July Dungeons and Dragons Sessions 7/2, 2/9, and 7/23. 3:00pm-4:30pm ages 12-18. Registration required. To sign up call 315-589-2048 or sign up on our onlin calendar.

Teen Craft Day, Bracelet Making. For ages 12-18. Wednesday, July 22nd. Drop-in anytime between 2:00pm-4:00pm
