Information about the Library Budget Vote

The Williamson Public Library asked residents of the Williamson Central School District to vote on the library's 2016 funding. The Library asked for the same flat funding that it currently receives as tax support from the Town of Williamson. The vote provided residents with a direct say on library funding, stable funding for the library, and allowed the library to directly adhere to the 2% Tax Cap.

The Williamson Public Library has a two page brochure outlining details about the vote, frequently asked questions, and the impact of the vote decision.

The Williamson Public Library Board of Trustees is available to present and answer questions for your community group or gathering. The above is an overview of the presentation. We would welcome a chance to meet with you and discuss the Library Budget. Please contact the library at (315) 589-2048 if you would like to have a Board member come to your meeting or gathering.
